2011 marks Marie Osmond's 20th Anniversary of doll making. Her theme for the year celebrates "Love and Laughter Along the Way" which are also lyrics from the Donny & Marie show popular back in the '70s. Marie wanted to come out a fun and affordable keepsake doll that fans and collectors could give one another or to get their next generation started in collecting. There are four similar styles of Love & Laughter Keepsake all with different shirt colors. This cute porcelain doll with a sweet smile has blonde hair and blue eyes and is dressed in a green t-shirt with a donny & marie flowered logo theme, denim pants and green shoes. Her head is articulated and she is porcelain in her head, arms and legs. Her body is cloth stuffed. She comes in a window display box. As this is from the Keepsake series, there is no Certificate of Authenticity, hang tag or doll stand but the box clearly represents Marie Osmond and the donny & marie Keepsake. Manufacturer discloses this is not a toy and not recommended for children under 14 years of age. Open edition. Great keepsake if you have watched the Donny & Marie show on TV or in Las Vegas.
